This balustrade was created for a renovated home in Hampstead, London. The client was looking for a smooth and unique balustrade with a tactile design. The use of  hammered texture on the round uprights and forged beveled top rail is what gave the balustrade the tactile sense the client was after and the smooth scroll end gave support for the first two steps whilst not intruding into the room. 

The finish is hot zinc spray with a black semi gloss finish. This gives the balustrade a robust finish which won’t easily mark or chip.
